This is the Philips DCC771 Prototype. It is a double Tape and DCC deck. It is an one-of-a-kind tapedeck which Philips never sold on the market.

The recording options for this deck are:
- record to analog tape
- record to DCC
- record from DCC to tape.

This Philips DCC771 deck has all features of the 700 series which Philips produced from 1996-1998. The reason why Philips never sold this DCC771 deck is unknown. Perhaps Philips already decided to kill the DCC format.
